Homer comes to the rescue again! He loaned me one of the holiday trees from his closet, so that I could whip the Casita into spirit this year. I want to get it looking somewhat festive, what with Mark and Zane arriving in just over a week. Our first Tucson Christmas since 2004.
I think the tree suits this little place...and me...very well.
Next week I begin rehearsals for a holiday concert with a local vocal ensemble. Hopefully, that will squeeze in a little cheer as well. It's not necessarily that I'm bah-humbugish. I guess with all the continent hopping and seasonal shifting I have been doing, I'm just a little confused all-around.
Your tree is beautiful!

I love it... and I think it's terribly exciting and wonderful Mark and Zane will soon be with you again.

That is WAY better than what I have... which is NOTHING. I am just not the decorating kind of queer. I used to have a gay lover, Tommie, that decorated for every season. Dammit... I just can't bring myself to do it myself. I have become too utilitarian.

I think Homer must be some kind of super hero in disguise. Is there anything that man can't do?!?

I tend to be very bah-humbugish at this time of year so its nice to find someone who can appreciate a little simple joy from it all!
