Yesterday, when I arrived home from using wireless at the public library, my new modem was waiting for me. Actually, it was at the post office awaiting pick-up. Hooray! I deposited Zane in the apartment and headed to the PO a few blocks from our place.
While walking there, I ran into our friend, Christian. We chatted briefly about life, happiness and the pursuit of a career. He went through a pretty tough year, too, but has also resurfaced. Now he is on track with study and work in an area that he never dreamed he'd pursue. I know how he feels, only I wish I were attempting it at his age. Oh, to be 20 years younger. Anyway, we both wished each other well with our new endeavors, however vague they yet may be for me.
Cute with Christian.
(Jan 08 -- I didn't have my camera with me yesterday)
The modem did not take long to set up. Within minutes, I was back online. It's funny how, as the quality of tech items gets lower, the less idiot-proof they are to set up.
Bonnee tried her best to help, but she quickly tired of the task.
At least something went right, but I do find myself holding my breath.

At least, your cat seemed to have a good time resting on the top of the box cover. :)

I'm pleased that Bonnie made sure there were no terrorists in the box.
