My last day in Tucson. Well, for two months anyway. (Oh, come on, would it hurt to let me have my drama queen moments now and then?)
No worries, though. I am very much looking forward to being back with the men in my life in Sydney. And women! (Sorry, Alison, Rhyll, Bloss, et alia.)
And I get to stop off and see Doug and Woody for a few days on my way to LAX. No complaints here!

This morning I had brekky with Lyle at the downtown Grill. Over an enormous stack of wholewheat toast, we talked about moving, work, singing, etc. (Break a leg with the upcoming interview, Lyle!)

I know it's bright, but don't frown, Lyle.

After dropping Lyle home, because I was near that area anyway, I took more sign photos, this time around South Tucson. Areas of this large neighborhood, unfortunately, are not places someone like me would want to be found alone after dark. The main drags are okay, however, with the ubiquitous and very fine authentic Mexican restaurants, including Mi Nidito, where President Clinton ate on a rare Presidential visit to the Old Pueblo a number of years ago.
More to the point, however, there are great many small businesses that offer excellent subjects for a Tucson Signs photo gallery. You can see all of them in my Tucson Signs set at Flickr.
